Advertising

The methods of advertisement that appeal to me are commercials or pictures of advertisement in newspaper articles that have something that has involved with sports. Also another advertisement that appeals to me is the radio because I listen to the radio when I am driving or when I do not got a CD I plan to listen to the radio. The radio usually gives advertisements of events that are going to happen in that same month or the month after. Also advertisements have their own commercials and they use famous sports athletes or any other type of famous start or artist to get the people’s attention to buy the product that they are trying to sell. . Another type is that mascots at sports events usually wear something that is with the advertisement.

What it takes to get my attention is when i want to be up to date with the new electronics or any other kind of things that I want to get. I will watch TV and try to find out when it is going to come out. For example shoes. A lot of advertisements have their own websites so you can look up their shoes through the internet and it is way faster than going to look at a newspaper or a magazine.

The forms of advertisement that I ignore is newspaper articles because I do not ready the newspaper. Instead how I get updated with the news is that I actually watch it on TV. Also what I do is that I look at the news in my computer depending on what type of news I want to watch for example if its sports news I go to ESPN and find out the latest news on sports and how my teams are doing, it all depends of the topic that i am trying to learn more about in the news

My Goals

My goal for the Year Up program is not to get any infractions. By that what I am going to have to do is to go to school every day and on time to all my classes. Also what I am going to have to do is that I am going to have to turn in all the work that is assigned to me on time and I will have to follow the dress code procedure. The purpose for me to not get any infractions is so I can be prepared so when I get a job in the corporate world I would not have any struggles with infractions at all.

One goal that I have for Business communication class is to better my public speaking skills. What I am going to have to do to accomplish that goal is to participate more in class. Why I want to better my public speaking skills is because I want to be more prepared when present in front of a class.

One goal that I have for professional skills class is to speak more professional. Why is because I got to get used to it so when I am in the professional working world I would already be ready and not have any problems with speaking professional.

One goal I have for IT class is to learn more about the business software. The reason why I want to learn more about business software is because I want to know the different types of software that different companies use because not all companies use the same software.
