Teens alcohol use

A current even that I researched for my topic Teen Alcohol use was a survey that they had in CBS News. They had a survey was called survey revels shocking levels on teen drinking and drug abuse. The article was based on 10,123 teenagers between the ages of 13-18. Both genders male and females did this survey. The researchers that they had would ask the teens about the drinking habit that they had. After they did the survey on the teens, they got the results of the survey and an outstanding 78 percent of teens had drinking alcohol. Also they tell you in the article, what are the key facts of why teens are drinking that much alcohol at that young age. They found out that the age that most teenagers stated to drink alcohol was at the young age of 14. They also say that there were no main gender difference in alcohol use for both male and female in drug and alcohol use, but that males had a much higher rate for drug and alcohol use. In the end of the article is just explains to you what might be some reasons of why teenagers are starting to drink at a young age. Lastly, the article tells you that out of the 20 million alcoholics in America, more than half of them began drinking when they were teens. This article is trying to let the world know about the shocking levels of alcohol use and also of drug use. This article will inform you with a lot of facts about teen alcohol use.
